Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using QuizFi at quizfi.app or any associated mobile application (collectively, the "Service"), you confirm that you are at least 16 years old, have read and understood these Terms of Service ("Terms"), and agree to be bound by them. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or an in-app notice.

2. The Service

QuizFi provides an online quiz platform where users can play quizzes across multiple knowledge categories, earn points, unlock content, and participate in leaderboards. The Service is provided free of charge and is funded through advertising and affiliate marketing.

2.1 Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice. We will not be liable to you for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

2.2 Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove features at any time. Points earn rates, unlock costs, tier thresholds, and reward values may change with reasonable notice to registered users.

3. User Accounts

You may use QuizFi as a guest without an account, but creating an account is required to earn and track points, access your leaderboard position, and redeem rewards.

• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• One account per person. Multiple accounts created to exploit the rewards system will be terminated.
• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

4. Points, Rewards and Unlocks

4.1 Earning points

Points are earned through legitimate quiz activity as described on our Rewards page. We reserve the right to withhold, reduce, or forfeit points earned through automation, exploits, fake accounts, or any means not consistent with genuine quiz engagement.

4.2 Legend reward

Upon reaching 1,000,000 lifetime points, you may claim a $100 reward. This reward is subject to: (a) account verification, (b) account age of at least 14 days, (c) review for points legitimacy, (d) availability of funds. We reserve the right to withhold the reward if we reasonably believe points were earned fraudulently. The reward is paid as a digital gift card, PayPal transfer, or charitable donation at the user's election, processed within 14 business days of approval.

4.3 Points expiry

Points expire after 12 consecutive months of account inactivity (no logins). We will email a reminder 30 days before expiry. Spendable points spent on unlocks are non-refundable once redeemed.

4.4 No cash value

Except as explicitly stated in the Legend reward programme, points have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be sold or traded.

5. Content and Conduct

Quiz content on QuizFi is generated and curated by us, including through AI-assisted generation. While we aim for accuracy, we do not guarantee that quiz content is error-free. Quiz results, scores, and any recommendations made on result pages do not constitute professional medical, financial, legal, or other expert advice.

5.1 User-generated content

If you submit any content to QuizFi (including display names, profile information, or user feedback), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and moderate that content in connection with the Service.

6. Advertising and Affiliate Content

QuizFi displays advertising and may include affiliate recommendations on quiz result pages. These are clearly disclosed in accordance with our Affiliate Disclosure. We may earn commissions on purchases made through affiliate links. The inclusion of an affiliate recommendation does not constitute an endorsement of any product or service, and QuizFi is not responsible for third-party products, services, or websites.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to play quizzes or accumulate points.
• Create multiple accounts to exploit the referral or rewards system.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or reproduce quiz content without permission.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Use the Service to transmit spam or unsolicited communications.

8. Intellectual Property

All quiz content, design, code, trademarks, and other materials on QuizFi are the property of Venturio Labs or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our express written permission.

The QuizFi name, logo, and brand are trademarks of Venturio Labs. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use them.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

Quiz content, results, and recommendations are for entertainment and general knowledge purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice of any kind. Always consult a qualified professional for decisions affecting your health, finances, legal situation, or other important matters.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Venturio Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of €100 or the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. As QuizFi is a free service, this effectively limits our liability to €100.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately and your points balance will be forfeited.

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Deletion is permanent — points, history, and unlocks cannot be recovered.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also have the right to refer disputes to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
